The first two huge liquefied natural gas projects in Mozambique are expected to generate revenues of $77.5 billion for the financially stricken government, writes Iain Esau.

Mineral Resources & Energy Minister Max Tonela said late last week that $24.5 billion would flow to the government over the life of Eni’s Coral South floating LNG project, with Anadarko Petroleum’s onshore Mozambique LNG scheme forecast to produce $53 billion.
