The Oman-connected company is also chasing a quartet of other second-hand units to fulfill a firm contract in Azerbaijan.
Topaz is currently in discussions with Norway’s Simek about an order for two platform supply vessel newbuilds, the former’s chief operating officer Roy Donaldson told Upstream.
“We are in discussions to build a couple of PSVs in Norway... The offer we have is about $32 million.”
