UNITED Arab Emirates-based owner Topaz Marine & Energy has won a deal from Total to provide an offshore support vessel for the Absheron gas condensate field in the Azerbaijan portion of the Caspian Sea.
Topaz will use a single anchor-handling tug supply vessel to support drilling of one workover well and a development well on the field, which is operated by the French supermajor in a joint venture with state player Socar.
