UK supermajor BP has installed the topsides for the first offshore platform that will be part of the second stage development of the Shah Deniz field in the Caspian Sea off Azerbaijan, writes Kama Mustafayeva.
Hook-up and commissioning activities are now starting on the quarters and utilities platform, BP said, adding that installation took place almost two months ahead of schedule.
