Off Congo-Brazzaville, the company made its fourth successful find in its Mer Tres Profonde Sud (MTPS) block in a water depth of 2000 metres.
The Cassiopee Est Marine-1 probe was drilled to a total depth of 3330 metres and tested at 5600 barrels per day of oil.
"The evaluation of the reserves related to this discovery is under way", the company said.
