France's Total has signed a contract with Brazilian player Brasco to provide logistics support in the Lapa pre-salt field in the Santos basin.
Lapa was producing about 39,200 barrels per day of oil from two wells in January via the Cidade de Caraguatatuba floating production, storage and offloading vessel, according to data from market regulator ANP.
