French major Total has added about 135 million barrels of oil equivalent of new reserves at its Elgin-Franklin development in the UK central North Sea thanks to an ongoing infill drilling campaign.
Gross reserves associated with the high-pressure, high-temperature development have been increased now to about 420 million boe.
The upgrade emerged when project partner Premier Oil’s reported annual results last week.
