France’s Total is expanding its presence in Oman by winning an initial agreement to take a 100% stake in the onshore Block 12 which has significant gas potential, writes Nassir Shirkhani.
The Heads of Agreement with the Ministry of Oil to explore the block in central Oman will be finalised soon.
‘’Under the terms of this HoA, both parties will finalise in the coming months, on an exclusive basis, a definitive agreement that will grant to Total 100% working interest and operatorship of the exploration block 12,’’ Total said.
