Transneft president Nikolay Tokarev said the state-owned oil pipeline monopoly has hired Natalia Kutsyk as international adviser.

Kutsyk, also known as Natalia Pereverzeva and Patricia Mills, was among a group of 10 Russian sleeper agents expelled from the US last year in a spy swap that saw Moscow send four Russian convicts to the West.

Tokarev, a veteran of the Soviet Foreign Intelligence Service, said Russian spies should be wholeheartedly backed at home instead of being treated with scorn by the country’s media.
