Rig giant Transocean has walked away from two drillships under construction in South Korea that were previously ordered by the now-acquired Ocean Rig.
Two Transocean subsidiaries will now not make any further payments related to the two units at Samsung Heavy Industries — the Ocean Rig Santorini and Ocean Rig Crete.
