Trapoil will take a 10% working interest in Summit’s Block 29/1c, on which an initial exploration well is scheduled to be drilled in the third quarter of this year.
This probe will target the Orchid prospect, a four-way dip closure in Tertiary and chalk horizons, close to the producing Banff, Kyle, Bittern and Gannet fields.
The other partner in the licence is Reach Exploration.
