The Trinidad & Tobago government and project operators BP and Shell have expressed optimism about progress on talks surrounding what the Port of Spain authorities see as targeting a “more equitable agreement” for sharing liquefied natural gas revenue from the Atlantic LNG facility, writes Kathrine Schmidt.

The government is hopeful that agreement will be secured by the end of the current quarter in talks that were launched with Shell and BP in London last April, Prime Minister Keith Rowley said during the Trinidad & Tobago Energy Conference this week.
