As the fifth-largest exporter of natural gas in the world, and the largest exporter to the US, the Caribbean nation is optimistic that its resource will prove to be one of the energy industry's most economic and viable alternatives in light of declining oil prices.
“Product from Trinidad&Tobago has ended up in Asia, Japan, Europe and the US. The LNG business continues to be very attractive in terms of its availability to attract prices in various markets that are reasonably higher than any other,”said the country's Energy Minister Conrad Enill.
