Representatives from Poland, Ukraine and the US have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance the security of gas supplies in parts of Eastern Europe through liquefied natural gas supplies from the US, writes Vladimir Afanasiev.

The agreement, which followed talks in Warsaw late last week, was signed by the Polish government official responsible for energy infrastructure, Piotr Naimski, Ukraine’s Secretary of National Security Aleksandr Danilyuk and US Energy Secretary Rick Perry.
