Dutch player Tulip Oil has unearthed what it said is a “significant” oil discovery at an onshore well in Germany that is operated by a majority-owned related company, writes Eoin O’Cinneide.
The Hague-based Tulip said this week the Steig-1 well in the south of Germany has “delivered a significant oil discovery”, with the size and value currently being evaluated.
“Planning for the development of this oilfield has commenced,” Tulip added.
