The Tupi South 3-RJS-646 well was closed in early July for the replacement of a subsea tree, after a manufacturing problem was detected in the fixing bolts of the equipment.
As promised by financial director Almir Barbassa a couple of weeks ago, Petrobras was able to replace the device in a little less than two months, much faster than the initial estimate of up to four months.
