The first package will centre on the long-term charter of a large floating production, storage and an offloading vessel and is likely to hit the market soon, industry sources said. ONGC is understood to be looking for a unit capable of handling 90,000 barrels per day of oil and 135 million cubic feet per day of gas.

The second tender package involves the large subsea umbilicals, flowlines and risers installation workscope that is thought to be worth more than $1 billion and is also expected to be tendered within weeks, they added.
