Brazil’s Petrobras has signed a deal with Acu Petroleo to carry out transshipment operations at the Port of Acu industrial complex in Rio de Janeiro state.
The two-year contract with Acu Petroleo will allow Petrobras to use the TOIL oil terminal in Acu for up to 48 vessel-to-vessel operations using Suezmax and very large crude carriers.
Petrobras currently uses the Angra dos Reis and Sao Sebastiao terminals for its transshipment operations.
