Ugandan engineering and construction companies should prepare to participate in a slew of contracts over the next three years, generated by some $20 billion worth of imminent upstream and downstream investment, according to the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU), writes Barry Morgan.
Civil works will be ring-fenced for indigenous Ugandan companies, said Minister for Works & Transport Monica Azuba Ntege on behalf of the PAU.
