UK government receipts from the oil and gas industry up to 2024 are expected to be an average of £600 million ($792 million) a year lower than forecasts made a few months ago.
The figures, a revision of estimates made in October, were published by the UK’s budget watchdog following Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond’s spring financial statement to parliament on Wednesday.
