The troubled UK oil and gas industry is braced for a period of further uncertainty amid the political and economic turmoil following Britain’s shock vote to leave the European Union.
The UK electorate voted on 23 June by 51.9% to to 48.1% to end the country’s 43-year membership of the EU, sparking the resignation of Prime Minister David Cameron and raising the prospect of a second referendum on Scottish independence.
