The UK commissioner for shale gas has resigned after only six months in the role over current seismic limitations for hydraulic fracturing, writes Anamaria Deduleasa.
In her resignation letter to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Natascha Engel said the development of a shale gas industry in the country has been brought to a halt by “ridiculously low” seismic limitations.
