Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (Adma-Opco) has cancelled tenders expected to be worth more than $800 million for work on its Umm Shaif oilfield expansion project in the United Arab Emirates.
At least three sources confirmed that Adma-Opco has told bidders that it will not now proceed with the project.
Sources said tenders related both to the project’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and project management consultancy (PMC) contracts have been dropped.
