Four contractors presented offers in January to supply Petrobras with a rig capable of working in water depths of about 2000 metres to be used in the Marlim Leste field in the Campos basin.
Pacific Drilling offered the drillship Pacific Sharav, while Ensco presented the drillship DS-8.
Vantage Drilling submitted the drillship Dalian Developer and Seadrill bid an undisclosed unit.
It is understood that all offers came above the $550,000 mark.
