Brazil’s National Petroleum Agency (ANP) has given the green light to a unitisation agreement covering the main Petrobras-operated Lula field, an area called South of Tupi, and a third section of the Santos basin field, which is currently located on open acreage.
The South of Tupi area is subject to a 2010 transfer of rights in favour of state-controlled Petrobras.
