UP Offshore has submitted the lowest bids and emerged as the frontrunner to secure as many as four long-term contracts with Petrobras for the charter of large platform supply vessels to operate off Brazil.
Petrobras asked offshore shipping companies to submit proposals for 4500-deadweight tonne PSVs for delivery in mid-2016, offering contracts for a two-year period, renewable for an additional two years.
