Middle East pipeline player Valentine Maritime, Singapore-based Swiber and domestic contractors Essar and Punj Lloyd are the top contenders preparing to bid, according to industry sources.
“All four are strong players and have the capability to carry out a large-scale offshore project like PRP-4,” one source claimed.
The PRP-4 workscope includes the installation of 236.35 kilo-metres of subsea pipelines and topsides modifications on 61 offshore platforms.
