Uruguay is still pushing forward with its third deep-water bid round as the industry grapples with lower oil prices, but is now targeting bidding in mid-to-late 2016 due to the tough market conditions.
Petroleum regulator Ancap confirmed the timeline for the frontier offering to Upstream, saying the agency aims to gain government approval and announce details by the end of the year.
