Odessa-based Kruse, which hosts 90% of all oilfield auctions in the US, sold more than $25.8 million of equipment in a single auction in the heart of the Permian basin in Midland, Texas.

The record was driven primarily by the sale of three large hydraulic fracturing spreads, Kruse president David Long told Upstream.

Each spread included 15 trailers rated to 2500 horsepower — about 37,500 horsepower per spread.
