The Bigfoot-9H, drilled in central Belmont County, Ohio, stabilised at a production test rate of nearly 42 million cubic feet per day of gas after five days on a 33/64-inch choke with flowing casing pressures of 5850 pounds per square inch.
The well has a 6957-foot horizontal section and was fractured in 40 stages. Rice expects to put the well on production by early next month.
