Privately held Epsilon Development and state-owned oil and gas producer Uzbekneftegaz have reported the completion of two highly productive wells over the past week, reviving hopes for growth after decades of stagnation and declines in the Uzbekistan gas industry, writes Vladimir Afanasiev.
US-incorporated Epsilon said that after completing fracking operations at a depth of around 3700 metres, the Nazarkuduk-4 well flowed at the equivalent of 1 million cubic metres per day during testing.
