Uzbekistan state company Uzbekneftegaz has made a gas and condensate discovery on the Kushkair structure in the Ustyurt region, close to the Uzbek-Kazakhstan border.
According to the company, a first exploration well flowed at a rate of about 200,000 cubic metres per day of gas and some condensate during testing of a reservoir, located at a depth of about 3550 metres.
