Eni-backed Norwegian player Vaar Energi has invited bids for subsea contracts and for modification and upgrade work on the Jotun floating production, storage and offloading vessel as part of its Nkr15 billion ($1.8 billion) Balder X project in the Norwegian North Sea.
Suppliers are currently preparing bids for a subsea production system and for subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines for the 16-well subsea project.
