Argentina-focused independent Vista Oil & Gas has disclosed better-than-expected results from its first four-well pad in the country's Vaca Muerta shale, writes Caroline Evans.
The pad located in the Bajada del Paolo Oeste block reached peak production of 6500 barrels of oil equivalent per day in mid-April, Vista said.
Two of the wells targeted the La Cochina formation while the other pair targeted the Lower Organico trend.
