French player Vallourec said it has received a $63 million binding offer for its drilling services business after discussions with US service player National Oilwell Varco.
The unit includes about 600 employees and offers tubular products including drilling pipe and drilling accessories.
Vallourec Drilling Products has a presence in North America, the Middle East and the Netherlands, as well as one plant in Aulnoye-Aymeries, Hauts de France.
