Earlier this year Wim van der Zande and his family had a lucky escape from a road accident while on holiday in Italy.
Their car was crushed between a truck and a road barrier but fortunately all walked away unscathed, explains the 56-year-old, now two years into his tenure as chief executive of Aberdeen-headquartered global engineering consultancy Xodus Group.
