The VietGazprom joint operating company has made inroads in its maiden deep-water drilling campaign off Vietnam’s south-east coast.
The company is attempting to open up a new petroleum play in the Nam Con Son basin, where it is currently engaged in a two-well drilling campaign that started on 9 August in blocks 130 and 131 using the drillship Deepsea Metro I.
