Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) has unveiled plans to build a liquefied natural gas import project on home soil, following the lead of state-owned PetroVietnam.
Petrolimex’s plans centre on an LNG receiving and regasification terminal in the southern province of Khan Hoa. Gas would be used as feedstock at a nearby power plant to be built by Vietnam Electricity or EVN.
