Saipem has won a contract to provide front-end engineering and design services to ExxonMobil for Vietnam's multi-billion-dollar Ca Voi Xanh gas-to-power project, write Russell Searancke and Russell McCulley.
The Italian contractor will perform FEED services for both the onshore and offshore aspects of the project involving Vietnam’s largest gas field.
The offshore facilities will include a wellhead platform in 242 metres of water with topsides equipment for separating gas and condensate and to partially dehydrate the gas, a Saipem spokesperson said.
