UK COMPANY Soco International said a production sharing contract has been approved by the Vietnamese government for its two offshore exploration blocks in the Phu Khanh basin.
Formal signing of the final PSC is being arranged and is anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Blocks 125 and 126 are in moderate to deep water to the north of the Cuu Long basin.
