BP is a step closer to developing the Vorlich field in the UK central North Sea following the submission of an environmental statement to the authorities, writes Rob Watts.
A key front-end engineering and design contract has meanwhile been awarded to WorleyParsons in Aberdeen by Ithaca Energy, operator of the Greater Stella Area hub, the intended tie-back host for the subsea project located 10 kilometres to the south.
