Private equity-backed newcomer Waldorf Production is open to further acquisitions after closing its maiden deal in the UK North Sea through the purchase of Endeavour Energy’s assets, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.

The company, which is backed by funds from New York-based Sculptor Capital Management and a group of mainly Norwegian private investors, said this week it has become a “full-cycle exploration and production company with material production” following the acquisition of Endeavour Energy UK.
