The Chinese government has transferred oil giant Sinopec's chairman Wang Yupu to a new position, writes Xu Yihe.
Wang, 61, has been appointed party secretary of the country’s workplace safety watchdog, the State Administration of Work Safety.
It is not yet know who will succeed Wang as Sinopec's new chairman. However, sources said company president Dai Houliang would assume top management responsibility.
