Elsewhere, claims by Japan and Russia in the Pacific and one by France around its territory of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon near Newfoundland&Labrador off Canada are also set to be considered by the UN commission. India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myannmar are also locking horns in the Bay of Bengal.
