A joint venture between Russian players Gazprom Neft and Novatek plans to complete more than 90 complex development wells in deep Achimov formations at the Urengoy gas field in West Siberia between now and the end of 2022.
According to a tender disclosure notice, the Arcticgaz venture intends to complete at least six wells in the formations, located at depths between 3500 metres and 4000 metres, before the end of this year.
