BP may have found significant additional gas reserves at Egypt’s West Nile Delta (WND) development that could transform production flows from the offshore Mediterranean concession.
Well-placed sources in Cairo said BP and partner DEA of Germany are looking to add five new fields to the WND development queue that will increase its reserves base to 12 trillion cubic feet from the current 5 Tcf.
