Two of the dominant owners of undeveloped gas discoveries in Papua New Guinea’s Western Province have chosen a greenfield liquefied natural gas project as their basecase development concept.
Australian company Horizon Oil and its strategic partner in PNG, Japan’s Osaka Gas, will begin imminently a pre-feasibility study for a greenfield mid-scale LNG project based on a near-shore plant at Daru Island.
