Partners in the Ngoki-1 wildcat being drilled in the frontier Cuvette basin in Congo-Brazzaville have reported encouraging indications of oil, though sources cautioned it is too early to claim a discovery has been made, writes Barry Morgan.
Operator Petroleum E&P Africa and its partner, African Petroleum Research & Distribution Corporation (SARPD-Oil), are still drilling the probe in the onshore Ngoki block.
