Detailed engineering is still going on and could possibly push the start of fabrication closer to autumn this year.
Platform builder Gulf Island Fabrication said in June that it had signed a contract with Williams for construction of the three-level, 7000- tonne topsides in Houma, Louisiana.
In May, Williams said it had received a Letter of Award from Hess to provide production handling services in the Tubular Bells field development using the Gulfstar FPS.
