ANOTHER reminder of the growing momentum in the Vaca Muerta came just last week when German operator Wintershall confirmed that it has started drilling on its Bandurria Norte block, writes Gareth Chetwynd.
Wintershall has spudded the first of three planned horizontal wells on the 107-square-kilometre block targeting the Vaca Muerta formation, which is located at depths of between 2700 and 3000 metres.
